Ashvin E. Rajagopalan is the Director of Ashvita’s, Chennai, Co-Founder of Asign, and Director & Chief Curator at the Piramal Museum of Art, Mumbai. His work spans modern and contemporary South Indian art as well as devotional and historical practices, with a strong emphasis on scholarship and cultural context. Through years of engagement with artists, collections, and institutions, he brings a deep understanding of the art ecosystem. This experience informs his role in shaping DTPL’s efforts to develop technology that supports greater clarity, structure, and credibility within the sector.

Hemalatha Ramaiah is the Co-Founder of Asign and the founder of Landmark, India’s pioneering chain of book and leisure stores, later acquired by the Tata Group. She went on to establish Westland Books, acquired by Amazon, and launched one of India’s earliest large-scale online bookstores. With decades of experience building consumer businesses and digital platforms, she brings strong entrepreneurial and strategic insight to DTPL. Her experience in scaling ventures contributes to shaping technology-driven products and services designed to support the evolving needs of the art ecosystem.
